The Microsoft default SAN policy might cause VM '{VM_name}' (VPG '{VPG_name}') volumes to become offline upon recovery.

Description

Due to Microsoft default SAN policy, the volumes for the virtual machine in the VPG might become offline upon recovery.

Possible Cause	Possible Resolution
The Microsoft default SAN policy.	Follow the instructions in http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=2000767 so that during a recovery, these volumes are online. The instructions are valid for all operating systems, for example, Windows Server 2012, when either the protected or recovery site is a vSphere environment.
